Sorry I haven't been around much. I was doing an excellent job of moving through my grief of my mom, getting all the stupid things done (like faxing a power of attorney to her utility companies just to turn them off!) and then my auto-immune condition kicked into high gear, just as my husband started coughing up blood and my son spiked a fever of 103.
I think we're coming down the other side of that hill now. Whew. I certainly hope so because something very exciting is scheduled.
A GETAWAY!!!! Just my husband and me!!!! That hasn't happened in the almost eight years since my daughter was born! Now I can't quite count my chickens before their hatched. Hopefully my husband doesn't have pneumonia and can actually go. And the wonderful friend who offered to have my kids just had a D&C yesterday, so hopefully she'll still be feeling up to it. But I've got my fingers and toes crossed.
We are so desperately in need of a vacation full of hot wild sex.
Hoping for the best for you two. It almost sounds like the world is conspiring against you right now which means a turnaround is due.

ReplyDeleteUgh! I think it's actually the same virus that killed my mom a month ago, it's settled in everyone's lungs. Lungs are grief in Chinese medicine. Possibly some correlation there...
